What is FleecePlease?

FleecePlease was born from a simple, frustrating reality: finding a reliable fiber mill shouldn’t be harder than shearing a flighty sheep. We struggled to find a single source of truth for which mills were currently accepting fleeces, what their specific micron limits were, and who could handle specialty fibers like Mohair or Angora. This directory is our solution: a dedicated space for small-batch farmers and makers to find their perfect processing partner.

Every mill listed here is committed to supporting small farms and preserving the integrity of the fiber arts.

We’ve also incorporated fiber farms and fiber festivals, locations where you can find the raw materials, and places you can shop and meet like-minded people and animals!

Meet Teff

Teff is a native of Lower Sherwood Farm in Charlottesville, VA, She transitioned from full-time pasture management to the tech world in 2024. As the world’s first caprine LinkedIn influencer, she recognized a systemic bottleneck in the fiber supply chain: makers couldn’t find mills, mills were buried under antiquated spreadsheets, and shoppers didn’t know where to go to buy products.

When she isn’t vibe coding the next iteration of the Loom, Teff specializes in high-quality Angora production, fence-line negotiations, and clover-based incentive structures. She believes that every fleece deserves a finish, and every mill deserves a spotlight.
